His boss was arrested in Salamina

He beat an immigrant and then abandoned him chained

According to what the immigrant himself told the Police, his boss beat him when he announced that he would quit the job because he was not being paid

The chain around the neck of the Egyptian—who was found beaten—was so tight that a special tool was required in order to have it cut

An Egyptian was found swollen from the beating in the Ambelakia area in Salamina. Witnesses noticed a man on the ground chained to a tree from his neck when they were passing from the junction of Athenas street and Venizelou Avenue on Sunday morning. They immediately called the National First Aid Centre and the police. He was found in this condition by the authorities when they arrived at the spot. The chain around his neck was so tight that a special too was required in order to have it cut…

The injured man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. As it became known, the Egyptian was working in a bakery in the area. According to what he told the Police, his boss beat him when he announced that he would quit the job because he was not being paid.

A manhunt started right away for the detection of the bakery owner. At the end the bakery owner submitted himself. During his defence he argued that he caught the Egyptian stealing…
Of course he did not explain the logic based on which he chained him to the tree like a dog and beat him till he passed out.
