Angry scenes fatal stabbing of Pavlos Fyssas

Riotings has broken out at a number of the demonstrations held across the country following the fatal stabbing in the early hours of Wednesday morning of prominent leftist hip-hop artist Pavlos Fyssas (34).
Thousands of people gathered at the location in Amfiali, in the Keratsini district of Piraeus, where Fyssas, better known by his stage name of Killah P, was stabbed.
Police fired fired tear gas and deployed water canon at a number of the protests after some protesters set dumpsters on fire and started hurling projectiles at police lines.
By 10.30pm, police said they made 23 arrests and detained 42.
Earlier, the leader of Independent Greeks, Panos Kammenos, was booed as he arrived at the scene of the demonstration in Keratsini, forcing him to leave the area.
There were reports that a large group of anarchist/antiauthoritarian demonstators heading towards the Golden Dawn branch office in nearby Nikea.
The victim’s family have announced that his funeral will take place at 11am at Schisto cemetery, in Korydallos.
