Supreme Court prosecutor begins hearing testimony into 32 cases involving members of neonazi Golden Dawn

Recordings, along with tapes made in the past on individuals under surveillance by the National Intelligence Agency (EYP), will be used by a Supreme Court prosecutor investigating criminal cases involving members of Golden Dawn
A former member of Golden Dawn who was an eyewitness to the murder of rapper Pavlos Fyssas last week has delivered testimony to a Supreme Court prosectutor who is investigating over 30 criminal cases in which members of the party are involved.
The witness has requested to be placed in a witness protection scheme. According to reports on Wednesday evening, three other former members and one current member of Golden Dawn are prepared to deliver testimony and have also requested witness protection.
The former member gave his testimony as part of the investigation being carried out by deputy Supreme Court prosecutor Haralambos Vourliotis, who was handed 32 case files of incidents involving members of the neonazi Golden Dawn party earlier this week.
A police investigation has already identified five people with whom Fyssas’ murderer, Golden Dawn member Yiorgos Roupakias, had contacted either before or after the fatal stabbing.
Meanwhile, it has emerged that orders to eavesdrop on the telephone conversations of people suspected of involvement in the murder were issued in the aftermath of Fyssas’ killing…
