International boycott of Manolada strawberries

Various websites abroad call for an international boycott of Manolada strawberries after the injury of 29 foreign workers at the region’s fields after foremen opened fire against when the workers demanded six months’ unpaid wages.

Already lots of posters and texts in English have been uploaded, calling Manolada strawberries “bloodstained” and encouraging people not to buy them.

It is very indicative that one poster expresses the view that responsibility for the specific incident lies with the Greek government that acts with the support of Golden Dawn.
